A ZTA Traveling Leadership Consultant (TLC), is a recent college graduate that travels the country visiting our (as of now) 169 chapters. We work with the chapter leaders and assist them in reaching their goals and helping their chapters strive for greatness! Unlike most organization consultants, we are not restricted to one area or region so our travels could take us anywhere in the United States and we are constantly on the road without a home base aside from breaks during holidays.

You can learn more about ZTA TLCs here:

I've had the opportunity to meet many TLCs through my collegiate time as a ZTA and they've all been so amazing and inspiring! A couple of my favorites are pictured below!

{TLCs: Caroline, Kayla, and Alyssa}

One of my most favorite Zetas was a TLC I met my freshmen year, Alyssa! She inspired me to become a leader in my chapter and even years after her TLC journey ended she was always only a text away! Thank you so much Alyssa, for believing in me and being such a great role model and sweet sister!

My TLC Journey

I've always loved Zeta and after serving two terms as chapter President and getting to meet so many influential women I knew I needed to continue serving the Fraternity that has given me so much. I always thought about being a TLC and after an amazing trip to Phoenix, AZ for ZTA Convention 2016 and talking with my Advisor, Karen (the best GA ever) I decided to apply! I waited for months for applications to come out and turned mine in a few days before the due date on December 1st, 2016.

After weeks and weeks of anxiously waiting to hear back, I got an email to do a Skype interview; then a week after that another email, inviting me to fly to Indianapolis with about 30 other sisters to do in-person interviews at IO (International Office).

So, I left student teaching that day and flew to Indy to interview for my dream job! I got to meet so many sisters that were as in love with Zeta as I am. We all immediately bonded and it was such a fun, short, stressful weekend.

One of my favorite parts was getting to look around IO at all the ZTA history. I have attended ZTA National Leadership Conference and so I got to tour IO in 2015, but there were so many of us on the tour then and we were on a tight schedule during the conference so there wasn't much time to really take a good look around.

This time, I got a chance to talk with our Director of Archives, Patti Cords Levitte and she showed me the archives room and some amazing ZTA History!

After another month and a half of waiting, I FINALLY got the call! I was going to be a 2017-2018 Traveling Leadership Consultant for ZTA! I was SO excited! Below is the official announcement from ZTA.

Counting down the days until I'm back in Indy to start training! {one month!!!}
