We leave in FIVE DAYS for TLC Training and I am beyond excited! For me, this adventure could not come at a better time in my life. I'm so ready to move on, I'm so ready to dive into my future; for the first time in a long time I'm excited about what's next.
If you know me, you know I'm a huge planner (of everything); and for the first time ever, nothing is planned out, I have no idea where I'm going or who I'm going to meet and it is an amazing feeling!

However, there are SO many things I am looking forward to this year/my wish list:
Reconnecting and getting to know all of my new TLC sisters!
Attending the traditional National Officer dinner at the beginning of NLC
Trying new foods around the country
Experience a real Panhellenic Bid Day!
Staying in official ZTA housing
Attending another state's Zeta Day
Visit Alpha Chapter
Tasting real southern sweet tea😋
Getting to see the behind the scenes of ZTA and National Leadership Conference
Experience formal recruitment
Meeting national officers and sisters from across the country
Exploring more of our ZTA history and the archives
Visit the great state of Texas
{hopefully} make a difference in a chapter!

I've been packing and preparing for weeks; ever since I got back from college really. All of my packages have been delivered, everything's been rolled up and placed in packing cubes, I've also been to the mall at least 12 times. I feel nervous, but I feel ready. Ready to explore this country, work with amazing women and hopefully make an impact along the way!
The hardest part about this trip is going to be the fact that I hate repeating outfits, I'm a shopaholic and trying to figure out how to stay organized in two bags for three months.
We found out the other day that we will have a chance to return home for a day or two to re-pack and visit with our families before or first visits in the beginning of August. So, as of right now I'm focusing on packing for TLC Training and NLC, we will be gone about a month before we come home to re-pack for the fall. A few things I'll be sure to pack are my Polaroid Camera, my real camera, my Go-Pro and my travel journal to document an exciting year!
