Gamma Omicron Chapter

Central Michigan University, Michigan

This week's visit brought me back to the North! Home of Tim Horton's and hoody weather in August! Mt. Pleasant, Michigan became my home away from home!

The main goal of my visit was to get the girls prepared for recruitment and help them plan their first ever Work Week! I had so much fun helping them come up with ideas and facilitating workshops on things like conversation and teaching new Zeta chants and songs to the chapter!

Greeks on the Lawn

As soon as I arrived I was whisked off to Central Michigan University Welcome Weekend! I met the chapter's recruitment team, got some cotton candy and headed to the campus bookstore to get some post cards for family and friends!

The next day was Greeks on the Lawn, CMU's tabeling event for Potential New Members to come explore the possibilities of Greek Life and get to meet sisters of the different sororities.

During my visit, my brand new Cannon camera was delivered to the house! The chapter was filming some of their recruitment video on the football field. I got a ton of great shots and got to practice a lot of the settings on my camera.

Gamma Omicron President, Carlie and I also spent the afternoon testing it out and exploring campus and Historic Downtown Mt. Pleasant. We headed to the new juice bar in town, Pure Vitality and it was amazing!

On Thursday, I was able to attend my first college football game on the road!

Central Michigan vs. Rhode Island!

During my visit, I was very lucky to be able to explore another ZTA House! Gamma Omicron's houses 14 of their sisters. It was fun getting to know the "House Crew" ladies.

On my last night, we all hung out in the basement to watch Harry Potter movies and look through some old ZTA scrapbooks from the 80's and 90's--if you know me, you know that's my idea of a perfect night!

Favorite Coffee House: The Dreamer; I especially loved their turquoise straws

and pomegranate bubble green tea!

Favorite Spot: Front Porch Swing; ZTA's house is on Greek Row and it was nice to sit outside to read and work on some things!

Next stop, Eta Tau Chapter in

Charlotte, North Carolina
