What an absolutely incredible weekend watching the newest chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha, Lambda Omicron get installed and become officially official.

Since the moment I got my bid and became a ZTA in 2013, I have experienced an immeasurable amount of moments in this organization that have made me incredibly happy, proud, emotional, and everything in between.

Not every ZTA has the opportunity see an Installation service, let alone be one of the driving forces in helping a group of complete strangers come together to create a sisterhood that our Founders would be proud of. This Installation weekend will be a Zeta moment I will never forget and will cherish always! I'll always remember my time in Boise, Idaho with this group of exceptional women.

Every year my membership in ZTA has evolved and I've gotten to have new exepriences; from being a new member, a chapter leader, attending National Conventions and now being a Consultant and getting the chance to be on a Colonization team, I try not to take any moment for granted.

This Installation weekend will be a Zeta moment I will never forget and will cherish forever! I'll always remember my time in Boise, Idaho with this group of exceptional women that I am proud to officially call my sisters. I can't wait to watch Lambda Omicron flourish for many years to come.

To celebrate our new sisters, all members around the country are asked to wear turquoise and gray ribbons underneath their badges on the day of Installation.

Installing a new chapter in ZTA is a very exciting time for everyone involved in the Fraternity. By adding a new chapter, we are spreading the impacts of ZTA to new women around the country, we are truly Seeking the Noblest. Lambda Omicron marks the first chapter in Idaho!

Initiation and Installation weekend had been long-awaited as we swiftly moved into the spring semester; I'm not sure who was more excited, us consultants, National Officers, or the chapter women themselves!

The week leading up to initiation is a special one for every new member of ZTA, as we celebrate Zeta Week! We kicked off everything with a History Night, reflecting on the values and traditions our Founders set for us over 100 years ago.

We moved into Sisterhood Night, shared our stories of why ZTA means so much to each of us and held a chapter dinner to celebrate how far these women had come in a few short months.

The Installation banquet was so special. All of the newly-initiated chapter women, their friends and family, ZTA Alumnae in the area, and National Officers gathered for a brunch at the Century Link Arena (on the hockey rink ice) to celebrate Lambda Omicron.

FRED Fact: Every new ZTA chapter receives gifts and greetings from visiting chapters, National Council, and ZTA sisters around the country. Lambda Omicron also received their Baby Cup, as per Zeta Tau Alpha tradition, every new chapter receives a silver cup, engraved with their new chapter name and the date of their Installation.

One of the most special things at the banquet, was the ZTA Chain of Chapters. Each chapter of the Fraternity is represented by a silver link engraved with their chapter name and the date they were installed. It was such a significant moment watching link #253 get attached to our historic and beloved chain.

The chain is a physical representation of our bonds of sisterhood that can't be broken; and although we all come from different chapters and schools we are all forever linked by our beloved Fraternity...🔗
