Delta Upsilon Chapter
West Virginia Wesleyan College
Buckhannon, WV

I had such a meaningful visit with the sisters of Delta Upsilon Chapter. I could truly feel the sisterhood between their suite room walls all week long.
I was welcomed by every single sister and had a great time helping them with recruitment and Bid Day! (Also, shoutout to them for letting me take over the suite to watch the Penguins my whole visitđđ)

Dorm Sweet Dorm
I touched down in Clarksburg, West Virginia last week; into the smallest airport I've ever been to and the open arms of 3 amazing sisters! The chapter set me up in the cutest dorm right above their chapter suite and a TON of snacksđ

I am all about game nights and I was lucky enough to get to play one of my all-time favorites, Mexican Train Dominos during my first night at Wesleyan!

đSpotted: Delta Upsilon sisters on the steps of the famous Wesley Chapel!
Everyone who knows me knows I love a good photo shoot! The Delta Upsilon ladies were kind enough to include me in their chapter photo shoot before recruitment started!
Along with a lot of great photos, I also got the chance to explore Wesleyan's small campus. The school has a really beautiful chapel on location and one of my favorite campus dinning places Iâve eaten at so far: Cat's Claw!
Recruitment Ready

{Sisterhood Round}
The Chapter put on a great week of recruitment events! Starting with a flower-themed sisterhood round, "Blooming with ZTA".

{Philanthropy Round}
During Philanthropy Round, the sisters got to showcase their passion for our philanthropy, Breast Cancer Education and Awareness and talk about all the amazing things they do on campus, including their famous Pancakes & Princess event, where sisters dress up as Disney Princesses and have a special breakfast with members of the community.

{đŻPreference RoundđŻ}
I loved getting to work with this amazing Recruitment Chair, Elizabeth and Chapter President, Leighanna all week! Delta Upsilon chapter also had some amazing advisors that I had the pleasure of working with and getting to know!
A Rockin' Bid Day with Delta Upsilon

I think we can all agree that bid day hugs are the best hugs! I got the chance to watch 12 new members run home to ZTA and into the arms of their new sisters!
It's always a great visit when you get to stay for Bid Day; while we were teaching our newest members chants and getting them ready for run out, sisters were completely transforming the suite to a Rock-N-Roll theme.
The chapter sang karaoke, ate pizza and went bowling all the while celebrating their brand new sisters they had been waiting to welcome! It was a fun day and an overall great visit, I am really going to miss these ladies and can't wait to see what they do next!

|ZETA ROCKS|

After a crazy busy week of Recruitment and Bid Day, we treated ourselves to some good old-fashioned biscuits and gravy from Tudor's Biscuit World, a West Virginia favorite!

{Buckhannon, WV | 2.5.18}

I was really excited to be visiting Delta Upsilon because it's close to my chapter and I had met their former President, Dawn at Convention the year before! It was so great to catch up with her at her home chapter. I hope our paths cross again soon!âșïž

On my last night in West Virginia, we had a chapter meeting; every week the women read warm & fuzzies at the end of their meeting. Warm & fuzzies are little shoutouts and sweet notes that sisters read to each other. I got a few really nice notes from sisters before I packed up that night!
Country roads really did take me home...

I got the chance to stop at home for a few hours in between my visits to Wesleyan and Clarion. I got to catch up with some family, my dad made homemade pasta and I got some sweet cards from my little cousinsâ€ïž

Next Stop, Clarion University of Pennsylvania! C.U. Soon Delta Iota!
