Delta Iota Chapter

Clarion University

Clarion, Pennsylvania

My latest visit brought me to my home state of Pennsylvania and of course, SNOW! I had forgotten how much I did not miss the snow, however, I did love getting to meet the sisters of Delta Iota chapter at Clarion University!

My time with the chapter was mainly focused on recruitment and bid day, which always makes for a really fun experience! This was an extra special chapter visit because Clarion is so close to my collegiate chapter, Zeta Upsilon at Edinboro University.

I knew a few of the older sisters throughout my time in college (and even high school! Shout out to Cierra, Steph, Emily, & Meg!) It was so cool to visit a school so close to mine, work with my old Province President, Jess Kosty, finally try the famous Bob's Subs and meet Bill!

{Sisterhood Round}

At Clarion, the Sororities all choose a theme for Sisterhood Round, ZTA was Crownchella-themed. The chapter had ice pops, popcorn, and dipped Rice Krispie treats that were adorably placed on a homemade Ferris wheel.

Sisters, including myself, all received "VIP Pass" name tags for the event! The VP3, Andee did such a great job planning!

{Philanthropy Round}

During Philanthropy Round the chapter did a "Paint & Sip" event; sisters and Potential New Members painted survivor-themed canvases and sipped on pink lemonade as they learned about our National Philanthropy, breast cancer education and awareness.

{Preference Round}

The chapter had the cutest decor each night of recruitment! Their flower wall and senior letters were the highlight of Preference Night!

Zetalympics Bid Day

So proud of this VP2 for all of her hard work!

Delta Iota had picked the perfect theme for their spring bid day as it fell right at the start of the actual Winter Olympics!

I don't think I'll ever stop finding glitter in my suitcase after this Bid Day, but it was so worth it as we celebrating 6 amazing new members bringing home the gold and joining the Clarion chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha.

On my last full day visiting in Clarion, my ZTA little sister, Ashley had time to drive up and have lunch with me! I have missed her so much and it was so great to catch up after only getting to see each other once over Christmas break. Ash is an advisor for ZTA and I am so very proud of her!☺️

My little and I went to 📍Sweet Basil, a small Italian restaurant. Then, we explored Clarion's campus and the surrounding town, I had to stop and grab a picture with the Mario Lemieux mural in one of the alley ways! LGP!

After leaving from my home airport of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania I flew across the country to what has quickly become my second home, Boise, Idaho!

C.U. Again Soon, Pennsylvania!
