Iota Omega Chapter
University of Maryland

After what felt like the longest travel day full of delays, missed flights and Starbucks, I finally made it to the Iota Omega Chapter at the University of Maryland! Go Terps!đą

I was lucky enough to stay in the ZTA house on Fraternity Row in the cutest guest room. The ladies set me up with some snacks and a lot of UMD Zeta pride!

go terps! I had a very eventful week with the chapter besides my regular meetings! I got the chance to go to Sisterhood dinners at the house, made smoothie bowls and went to Zeta Spa Alpha where we handmade face masks and body scrub!

đBus Boys & Poets Halfway though the week I had the pleasure of joining the Executive Council officers for a dinner of big picture talk and goal setting for the fall. Iota Omega has a lot of great leadership and I can't wait to see where they take their chapter next!

Not only did I get to meet all the wonderful women of Iota Omega but I also got to see some friends during my visit! On my first morning in Hyattsville, one of my fellow LCs, Caylee was on break and met me for brunch! Catching up with her was as sweet as the dessert we shared!

Later in the week I got another opportunity to see another good friend and Zeta Sister from my own chapter! Shaley is in Law School in Washington D.C. and after realizing we were so close we met up so she could show me around her new city!
I've been to D.C. before, but never on such a beautiful day! It was 80 degrees out and Shales took me all over to see all the important monuments and the official White House Gift Shop so I could get my post cards I collect/send to family!

Not only was the weather beautiful, but April marks the beginning of Cherry Blossom blooming season in D.C. It was so pretty to see!

We spent our evening in Georgetown; we had dinner on the water at đNick's Riverside Grill. Of course, we're in Maryland, so Old Bay Seasoning is a must on virtually everything!

We ended our day at Georgetown Cupcake, which was at the top of my D.C. Tourist To Do List! My cousins and I used to watch their TV show on TLC all the time and they did not disappoint; I've never tasted better icing in my life!

Going to {M}iss UMD ZTA!

Next stop is Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio to visit the Eta Pi chapter!
