Mu Chapter

Drury University

Springfield, Missouri

My 13th Chapter visit brought me to the 13th Chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha!

Mu Chapter at Drury University, installed in 1909. Mu also happens to be the chapter of one of my good friends and fellow LC, Jessie Barton!

I had such a great time getting to meet all the ladies of Drury ZTA and I was greeted with such a sweet welcome and the BEST shirt.

I had all my meetings in the chapter's suite and I loved hanging out there! I have been constantly stunned by the gorgeous work of our Fraternity Housing Corporation.

I love seeing all of the unique Zeta touches in each chapter's living spaces; Mu had a lot of history up on their walls, which I really enjoyed looking at, but my favorite piece was the Themis Canvas.

My first morning in Springfield, I headed out to 📍The Aviary Cafe and Creperie for a delicious brunch! I had the Lemoncello crepe with homemade marshmallow fluff. It was SO. GOOD. The cafe had such a unique vibe, there are bird and France themes all around and the receipt book was a copy of a French novel that patrons write comments in.

New Member Retreat

I was lucky enough to be on my visit at Drury during the chapter's New Member Retreat! I had so much fun getting to know them.

The New Member Coordinator, Jamie is a Mary Kay Consulant and part of the retreat was getting facials! We headed to the adorable 📍Bee's MK Studio & it was so relaxing!

We all had dinner at 📍Black Sheep. I got the 24 Hour Applewood Smoked fries, I've never tasted anything like it, they were so delicious! Black Sheep is also famous for their milkshakes, we all got one--mine was the Purple Haze Shake! A whole slice of homemade blackberry pie blended with vanilla custard.

Cheers to a wonderful retreat!

It seems like recruitment never ends in Zetaland, and that is quite all right with me! I got the chance to work with VP3, Sophia on planning a recruitment workshop for the chapter!

After the workshop, a few of the girls and I went to Andy's for some frozen custard! Such a sweet way to end my visit with Mu!☺️

Next stop is the University of Maryland! Go Terps!
