Only the Best Stay Crowned After my visits in Ohio, I headed home for a short visit with family, friends and Zeta sisters. My little, Ashley and I road tripped across Pennsylvania for PA/WV Zeta Day 2018. Zeta Day is like a mini Convention weekend for collegiate and alumnae Zetas in the same state/area to come together and get to know each other.

Zeta Upsilon Chapter It was so fun to get to meet some new sisters that joined my collegiate chapter after I graduated! Zeta Upsilon won the "Excellence in Ritual" award at Zeta Day. I'm so proud of them and can't wait to see what they do next!

On the road this year I've had some visits in PA and WV, and it was especially nice to get to see the Delta Upsilon chapter from West Virginia Wesleyan that I visited during recruitment at Zeta Day! I also got to catch up with some alumnae I haven't seen in a while, my LC roomie during training, Maddie and of course, Sally & Karen!

Piedmont College

Exploratory Visit

Demorest, Georgia

Zeta's coming to Piedmont!

After my break at home, I got the special chance to go on an Exploratory Visit at Piedmont College because Zeta is starting a new chapter there next fall!

Before we start the extension process and recruiting members at a new school, consultants visit to meet with school administration and get a feel for the campus! Sam, Lindsey, Chelsie and I had so much fun getting to spend a week together and learning all about Piedmont.

The faculty and students at Piedmont could not have been more welcoming! We had the pleasure of getting to know the College's President, Dr. Mellichamp and we got the President's Home on campus all to ourselves!

Home Sweet Home for the Week Dr. Mellichamp is one of the most interesting people I've met on the road this year! He travels all over the world, plays the organ professionally and on top of his duties as the college's president, still finds time to teach classes! He took us to dinner on the last night of our visit there and had us laughing all the way through dessert (Creme Bruleé for me! Yum!)

📍Glen-Ella Springs Garden Piedmont College is located in the quaint town of Demorest, Georgia. It's a really gorgeous campus and has a lot of cool spots in the surrounding area.

Go Lions! Go Zeta! We met with a lot of different people while we were at Piedmont, and the bottom line of every meeting was that everyone at Piedmont is a part of a family. I'm so excited for ZTA to join the family next fall!

See you soon, Piedmont!

Lambda Pi Chapter

Reinhardt University

Waleska, Georgia

Adding to my Button Collection

After our exploratory visit, Sam, Lindsey and I drove to Waleska, Georgia to visit with ZTA's newest installed chapter, Lambda Pi at Reinhardt University!

📍Atlanta Beltline

Lindsey and another consultant, Natalie have been stationed at Reinhardt this past semester helping them become an installed chapter. We just missed Natalie, who left for her break but Lindsey, who has basically become a Georgia native was able to show us around!

📍Somewhere Sunny & 75...

We stayed at the LC apartment, complete with a pool, which we took full advantage of in the 75 degree weather! We rested up that night because on Saturday we had a full schedule of activities planned in Atlanta!

We walked around the Atlanta BeltLine, which is a whole tunnel/street way filled with murals. Our favorite was the famous paint splatter wall!

The Ponce City Market is one of the coolest places I've been on the road! The Market is housed in a large historic building in downtown Atlanta, complete with shops, a food hall and so many sweet treats.

Life just got Batter

Ever since I saw an edible cookie dough shop on FaceBook I have been wanting to go to one so badly! I got my chance at Ponce City. Down in the Fool Hall we found "Batter Cookie Dough Counter".

I am a big cookie dough-lover, 9 times out of 10 I'm going to go with cookie dough ice cream, but this was on a whole other level! It was literally a cup of cookie dough and it was SO good!

📍The Varsity For dinner, we had no choice but to stop at the iconic Atlanta fast food joint, The Varsity. I truly did not realize how many different burger and fry places I was missing out on all around the entire country?! The Varsity had a great old school aesthetic to it and their Sweet Peach Tea was too good!

Our last stop of the day was to the Sprinkles Cupcake ATM. Another sweet treat that has been on my bucket list for sometime! I had the double cherry cupcake and it was so delicious; this is definitely my new favorite ATM to visit!

📍Cherry, Salted Carmel, Red Velvet

My last day in Georgia started off with some amazing green tea from Linds's favorite place, 📍Tiny Bubbles Tea Bar! I got a green tea with Kiwi bubbles and tropical fruit jellies--so good!

We spent the afternoon shopping at boutiques and I got to try my first southern brunch, chicken and waffles, with some added Zeta strawberry love! Such a perfect way to end our visit. I can't wait to see Linds, Sam, Chels and all of my other consultant sisters in 2 short weeks at IO!

Next Stop

My last visit to the B! I'm feeling all the bittersweet emotions, but very excited to see the ladies of Lambda Omicron one last time!
