Reactivation Weekend

Back in September, I spent 3 weeks in Cincinnati, Ohio to help recruit for a new chapter! This photo is of the Alpha Eta chapter on Bid Day, unfortunately, my break started that day and I had to miss this exciting event.

Berry Excited for Zeta Week!đ
However, I was lucky enough to get to come back for Installation! We kicked off the celebrations for the chapter with Zeta Week. Chapter dinner, History Night (complete with a berry yummy treat) and the Pin Drop ceremony all took place to get the chapter excited for initiation!

đBoomtown Biscuits and Whiskey
Before heading to the hotel to get ready for the busy weekend ahead we stopped to have brunch at my new favorite place in Cincinnati! It's a themed restaurant, based off of Boomtowns during the California Gold Rush!
Reactivation Weekend

This was a special Installation Weekend because we were re-activating an old chapter that had closed. Our 32nd link in our Chain of Chapters, Alpha Eta Chapter at the University of Cincinnati!

All Thanks to our AmaZing Extension Director, Mrs. G!

I have to give a huge shoutout to these four ladies above. 3 of my Consultant sisters, Jordan, Taylor and Chelsie for all of their hardworking being stationed with Alpha Eta and Riley, for taking on the privilege of being the new chapter's first President!

DNCH Heather presented President Riley with the traditional Gavel

Extension is an exciting thing for our entire Fraternity; we are welcoming a new group of sisters into our circle and some sisters traveled from across the country to be there, including special guests like our National President, Alicia Williams!

On Friday we initiated over 150 women into the chapter and on Saturday morning we installed the chapter before an impressive banquet!

O-H-I-O, OOOOO-HIO
I've had a few visits in Ohio during my time as an LC and it was so much fun to reunite with some of my favorite Ohio Zetas! Cheslie was actually the first President of her re-installed chapter in 2016, Alpha Zeta Chapter (Ohio State University. Lauren, a former LC and now advisor for Beta Delta Chapter (Miami University) was so incredibly helpful!
Mandy is the Province President of Delta Delta (Baldwin Wallace University), a chapter I visited in August and we got to work together on recruitment and Katie is a collegiate member of Eta Pi Chapter (Wright State University) in Dayton, OH, where I visited last spring, whom I have loved keeping in touch with

It was a beautiful banquet where we got to hear warm wishes and welcomes from Zetas across the country and from the UC community, gifts were givens, tears were shed and hugs were received as we welcomed back Alpha Eta!

Every time I'm in Cincinnati, I always try to make some time to meet up with my friend, Courtney who's attending UC for Grad School!

đAdriatico's Pizza
We went to a Cincy special, Adriatico's for personal pizzas and our waiter gave us a free gelato tasting!

đMacaroon Bar
My last stop in Cincinnati on the way to the airport, was another sweet treat! One last Lemon Lavender Macaroon for the road!
Next Up, headed to Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas!
