Lambda Delta Chapter

Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi

I spent my Valentine's Day this year above the clouds! I arrived at Lambda Delta Chapter just in time for Valentine's Day dinner!

Sisters Natalie and Peyton picked me up at the airport and we met up with President Lexie for dinner at Johnny Carino's!

The next day, I got to celebrate Galentine's Day with the chapter at their Sisters Over Misters Event; complete with a chocolate fountain, heart-shaped pizzas and handwritten Valentines!❤️

This is my second time visiting Texas A&M University Corpus-Christi, and one of my favorite things is their unique campus!

Corpus-Christi is a very tropical little town and their campus sits on an island. I was there for some really incredible weather, too!

📍Corpus-Christi Bay

I had most of my meetings outside and spent my break times on the beach reading!

Padre Island was doggone fun

On Saturday, I had some free time and so Lexie showed me around Corpus! We headed to Padre Island with her lovable dog, Jax!

📍Whataburger by the Bay

Fun Fact: Corpus-Christi, Texas is home to the original Whataburger! We headed to the two-story establishment by the Bay for lunch--it was just as good as I remember!

📍Bahama Bucks

For dessert, I tried my first snow ball! I had the blue coconut and creme shaved ice with sprinkles and basically inhaled it, it was so yummy!

We ended our day at none other than Kendra Scott. We don't have store fronts in the north, and what else is a girl supposed to do while in Texas?

📍Coffee Waves I love getting to explore local college town coffee shops and Corpus did not disappoint! I had my meeting with New Member Coordinator, Jaci at Coffee Waves.

Accio Matcha!!

My absolute favorite coffee shop that I've visited so far has to be The Coffee Mug(le) a brand new Harry Potter themed shop that opened earlier this year and I just had to make a visit!

📍The Coffee Mugg(le)

The whole place was magical! Complete with sets of the Potter books, potions bottles, mismatched furniture and good drinks (I had the Dementor Remedy, aka hot chocolate😉); it felt just like Hogwarts!

They also had plenty of bakery items! Lexie and I tried the Hedwig cookies and the mini Hagrid birthday cakes. So good!

I truly enjoyed getting to know all of Lambda Delta's officers and they surprised me with handwritten notes from each of them when I left for the airport--they know my love language!

Definitely leaving a little piece of my heart in Corpus-Christi, Texas!

Next Up!

Another return visit! Staying in the south, but headed to Tennessee to see the ladies of Iota Chi again!
