Iota Eta Chapter

University of Nevada, Las Vegas

Las Vegas, Nevada

Welcome to Fabulous Iota Eta

My first time in Vegas was SO much fun, thanks to the ladies of Iota Eta Chapter at UNLV!

The fun started as soon as I landed! Panhellenic Delegate, Sydney, who was also my roomie for the week, picked me up from the airport and we headed straight for In-N-Out (I have to have as much as possible before it's back to the east coast😉)

Sydney grew up in Las Vegas and on my first night in town she showed me all around the strip, it was larger than life!

Milkshakes @ 📍Black Tap Sydney was the best hostess! I stayed at her family home in a suburb outside of Vegas. It was so much fun to get to hang out by her pool and try all her favorite restaurants!

On my second night in town, we went out for all-you-can-eat Sushi and got to walk around the strip at night, which was quite the experience!

The Strip Everything was lit up and there was live music and people every where! It was so much fun and I can't wait to make a return trip sometime soon!

📍DoughP

We ended our night at the new cookie dough bar that had just opened up! Syd and I both tried the Cookie Monster dough, we were warned it would dye our mouths blue and they were correct (but so worth it).

Thank you, Syd for making sure my visit to Las Vegas was the best ever!❤️

📍Dutch Bros

Vegas has a little bit of everything from everywhere, a faux Paris, NYC, along with all the best places to eat from Chicago's famous deep dish, Gioridano's to Cali's famous burgers at In-N-Out. I LOVE Dutch Bros, a west-coast based coffee house that I hadn't tasted since I was stationed in Boise--so good!

You can literally see all of Vegas from UNLV's campus, so in between meetings and during my lunch break everyday I would head over to the strip to eat, shop and walk around.

📍Chew + Chug The perfect walkable lunch, that I got from one of the Market Place's in LV, the first portable steak and seafood bar. It was delicious!

I made sure to stop by the 'World Famous Gold and Silver Pawn Shop' as seen on Pawn Stars!

It was so much fun getting to know all the officers at UNLV! I even got to attend a Panhellenic meeting with President Baylee, VP1, Megan and Sydney!

Another reason I was especially excited to see Las Vegas on my schedule is because my cousin, Rachel and her fiancé Grant had recently moved to the city and I was hoping to get to spend some time with them!

The three of us headed to Guy Ferrari's Vegas Kitchen for dinner. It was so wonderful catching up! We hadn't seen each other since vacation where they had gotten engaged last summer!

It was fun exploring the strip one more night, this time with family! One of the coolest things we did was watch the fountains at the Bellagio in a Lady Gaga song!

I enjoyed getting to see all the different hotels, I loved the gondolas in the Venetian, seeing live flamingos at the Flamingo and gambling at the Paris.

I left super early in the morning from Vegas and got to watch the sunrise over the strip, it was so pretty. I will miss you, Las Vegas and Iota Eta!
