Kappa Phi Chapter

Christopher Newport University

Newport News, Virginia

📍Pittsburgh Airport I headed back on the road, to make one last return visit to chapters I frequently visited this semester, Kappa Phi at Christopher Newport University in Virginia and Iota Chi at Middle Tennessee State University!

One of my last visits to Kappa Phi, had me #BoardingWithBailey a fellow LC sister! Bailey just came on the road this spring after graduating in December.

Bailey and I stayed in the Zeta house on campus, and it was so much fun to be able to show someone around Newport News! I had been visiting the chapter since last March and have gotten to know it pretty well!

📍Byrd's Cafe

We kicked off the week with brunch at my favorite place--Byrd's Cafe!

--and we held meetings at Nothing Bundt Cakes! Yum!

Of course, being in Virginia, we also had to go see some of the Founders' graves! We visited Helen M. Crafford who is laid right in Newport News. Such a treat for any ZTA!

We also happened to be at CNU during the Inter-fraternal awards. I was so proud of my Kappa Phi gals for winning the Excellence in Community Impact award!

Iota Chi Chapter

Middle Tennessee State University

Mufreesboro, Tennesse

True Blue for MTSU!

I had three more visits to Iota Chi during the second half of the semester, and they were just as great as the first two trips!

📍Smashville

With a few more visits to Iota Chi came one more trip to Nashville with Anna!

I am a huge Pittsburgh Penguins fan, and I realized that during my third visit to MTSU, the Pens would be playing the Nashville Predators IN Nashville.. what are the odds?! I HAD to go! Anna and I had great seats and (I) had a great time watching my Pens win in a shoot out!

There are lots of things I'll miss about Tennessee! The delicious BBQ, my favorite local cafe, sitting on the front porch swing at the Zeta House and of course the relationships I've made!

One of the coolest parts of this job is all the personal relationships we get to make! With it being April, Advisor Appreciation month (and my last visit) I have to give a shout out to this kind-hearted Advisor, Heather! She wants nothing but good things for Iota Chi and it shows!

It has been so exciting to catch up with all the ladies I've gotten to know throughout the spring semester and follow up on their goals and ideas to make sure that we're making progress! I can't wait to see what they accomplish next!
