I touched down for the first time in New Mexico in one of the smallest airports I've been in, but I was greeted with big smiles from sisters Harley and Sam!
This was my first time in New Mexico and I learned a lot! I found that turquoise is basically the state color (perfect place for any Zeta) and that honey on tortilla chips is delicious!
I obviously had to sample some Mexican food while in town. Everything was so good, especially my first Sopapilla!
I loved getting to know the ladies of Delta Pi Chapter! President Harley and my roomies for the week Baylei and Kristyn made sure I got to see and taste everything Portales had to offer!
📍Sweetwater Landall's I definitely couldn't pass up Dole Whip or the ice cream stuffed donuts that my favorite place in town--Landall's--had to offer!
I ended my week celebrating the chapter and their members at their campus leadership awards! I can't wait to see what you do next, Delta Pi!
After my visit at ENMU, I had one last quick stop at Iota Chi chapter over Easter break and then I was headed to my last LC visit EVER at Kennesaw State University!
